An Indian father-in-law in the U.S. has been convicted for killing his son’s black wife. He has been punished with life sentence for hiring hitmen to strangle his 22 year old daughter-in-law.

Personal reasons could have been the cause. But, I don’t think a 22 yr old woman will have so bad a relationship as to get killed by the father-in-law. Race is surely a basis. Could be an honor killing.
